Are you feeling a bit stuck when it comes to crafting those eye-catching LinkedIn carousels?
You're not alone!
Many content creators, like you, find it challenging to create compelling carousel.
But fear not, because there's a duo of digital helpers that can make this task a breeze: Canva and ChatGPT.
In this article, I'll show you how these two tools can turn your LinkedIn content into a carousel masterpiece, without wasting time and energy.
I followed the exact steps below to create this Linkedin carousel in less than 30 minutes.
LinkedIn Carousels: The Basics
LinkedIn Carousels are like a series of connected slides that you can use to:
Tell your story
Share your wisdom
Promote your services
You don't need to be a design guru or a tech whiz to make them.
Just two free tools: Canva and ChatGPT, and you're all set.
Step 1: Getting Started with Canva
Canva is your creative playground, and it's free to use. Here's how to begin:
Design Your Carousel: Start with a Linkedin Carousel template that's 1200x1500px. Keep it neat and simple.
Fit to Your Brand: You can change the color, font type and style to suit to your liking and stay consistent with your brand
Step 2: Leveraging ChatGPT
ChatGPT is like your writing assistant. Let's use it to cook up some tasty content:
Create Engaging Prompts: Ask ChatGPT to provide a catchy headline related to your topic. For example, if you're talking about balancing family and work, ask for a punchy headline on that.
Spruce Up Your Title: Take the headline ChatGPT gives you and use it to jazz up your title slide in Canva. Be creative but keep it professional, remember, you're on LinkedIn.
Cook Up an Article: Ask ChatGPT to whip up an engaging article on your topic. It'll do the hard part for you.
Transform Content into Slides: No need to spend hours making slides; ChatGPT can do that.
Here’s the prompt that I used:
Transform the above article to content for a carousel. Give me the content for title page. Give me content for each of the slides. Break it into slides, with numbers.
Slide Length Adjustment: If your slides are too short, just ask ChatGPT to make them a bit longer while keeping that zesty style.
Perfect Your Slides: Now, take each slide, paste it into Canva, and give it a personal touch. Add emotion, make it yours.
End with a Bang: For the last slide, use a different color, and ask ChatGPT for a snazzy conclusion or summary.
Bonus: ChatGPT even recommends an appropriate image for each of the slides. You can search in Canva ‘Elements’ to add to the slides!
Step 3: Finalize Your Carousel
Save as PDF: When your carousel is ready in Canva, save it as a PDF.
Step 4: Posting Your Carousel on LinkedIn
Start a LinkedIn Post: Begin a new LinkedIn post.
Add a Document: Look for the "Add a document" option below your post and click on it.
Select Your PDF: Upload the PDF carousel you made in Canva.
Craft Your Post: Write a caption to introduce your carousel. You can use the original prompt you gave ChatGPT as a starting point. Personalize it to fit your style.
Publish Your Carousel: Hit the "Post" button, and you're done!
And there you have it – you've just created and shared a fantastic LinkedIn Carousel.
These carousels are your secret weapon to engage your LinkedIn pals, share your wisdom, and leave a lasting impression.
So, why wait? Give it a try today. It's free, simple, and loads of fun.
Happy Carousel-ing!
